Evaluation of Lactic Acid Bacteria Isolated from Piglets Tract and Encapsulation of Selected Probiotic Cells

چکیده
Fourteen lactic acid bacteria (LAB) strains were isolated from the intestinal tract and feces of piglets. Among these isolates, only twelve biochemically (API 50 CHL ABIS online for bacterial identification) genetically (16S rRNA sequencing) confirmed as Limosilactobacillus fermentum, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactiplantibacillus plantarum. Experiments to evaluate probiotic potential isolates including pH tolerance (pH 2.0 3.0), bile salts (0.3% ox gall) resistance, hemolysis activity, antibiotic susceptibility, high-temperature resistance tested. Only two identified exhibited high survival rates when exposed low salts, L. acidophilus IBNA 76 plantarum 84. The test presented 100% both gentamicin, kanamycin, lincomycin, colistin sulfate, erythromycin, amikacin, oxytetracycline, enrofloxacin, streptomycin, tilmicosin, lower than 0.6 mm inhibition zone diameter. Promising (L. 84) spray-drying technique based on visible rates. Carrier matrix material was used a maltodextrin-glucose solution. encapsulation survived over 67% 77%, corresponding decrease in strain viability 109 107 CFU/g. After further vitro evaluations, findings this study showed that, all LAB strains, 84 may be considered candidates animal nutrition have promising performance piglet feed due their origin isolation.

Probiotic Properties and Physicochemical Potential of Lactic Acid Bacteria Isolated from Moroccan Table Olives
Background: Lactic Acid Bacteria are a group of Gram-positive bacteria which are widely used in the food industry as organic ferments called starter cultures. In this study, Enterococcus faecium, Leuconostoc mesenteroides, Lactococcus lactis, Weissella paramesenteroides, and Lactiplantibacillus plantarum isolated from Moroccan table olives were tested for their acquisition of probiotic and tech...

AIM A study was conducted with the objective to isolate probiotic microorganisms from swine intestine. MATERIALS AND METHODS In this study 63 isolates (24 caeca, 24 colon mucosal scrapings, and 15 rectal swab samples) were collected from Large White Yorkshire pigs. The isolates were inoculated and grown in de Man Rogosa Sharpe broth at 37°C with 5% CO2 for 48 h and subjected to morphological ...
متن کاملProbiotic potential of selected lactic acid bacteria strains isolated from Brazilian kefir grains.
A total of 34 lactic acid bacteria isolates from 4 different Brazilian kefir grains were identified and characterized among a group of 150 isolates, using the ability to tolerate acidic pH and resistance to bile salts as restrictive criteria for probiotic potential. All isolates were identified by amplified ribosomal DNA restriction analysis and 16S rDNA sequencing of representative amplicons. ...
متن کاملLactic Acid Bacteria: Probiotic Applications
Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) is a heterotrophic Gram-positive bacteria which under goes lactic acid fermentations and leads to production of lactic acid as an end product. LAB includes Lactobacillus, Leuconostoc, Pediococcus, Lactococcus and Streptococcus which are grouped together in the family lactobacillaceae. LAB shows numerous antimicrobial activities due to production of antibacterial and a...

Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) and their probio-active cellular substances exert many beneficial effects in the gastrointestinal tract. LAB prevent adherence, establishment, and replication of several enteric mucosal pathogens through several antimicrobial mechanisms. LAB also release various enzymes into the intestinal lumen and exert potential synergistic effects on digestion and alleviate sympto...
